Need art for your wall and love horses? Here ya go! This piece measures at 7 inches across (not including the tail), 4.25 top to bottom of body, 2 inches deep and a total of 12.5 inches tall including the unique legs.
This horse wall piece has fine porcelain like crackles on the white parts of his body, a brained rope mane, long chenille cotton legs wrapped in thread and for the feet antique Victorian buttons. The back has a hanger in place. I can see this piece in your country home :)
I worked a total of 18 hours on this guy. I hope the fine details show. This is a paper clay piece!
Signed original art!
All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one-of-a-kind pieces.
I am a long-time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one-of-a-kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Holiday shows from 2003 - current. As of 2023 I'm a licensed artist for Transpac giftware.
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
All artwork and its photos are copywrite protected and belong solely to the artist Janell M. Berryman owner of Pumpkinseeds original folk art. You must ask permission to use photos and or any of the content associated with my art. My artwork is not intended for resale.
