DESCRIPTION:

Gotta love this guy dressed in a silly bear suit! This entire piece has a fine crackle finish. Fun dangling arms and legs! The height is 7 inches tall. The man has an white face finish with a blue undertone. Kind of cute and kind of spooky! I love his tiny blushed nose to go with those big blushed cheeks. The man is attached with a metal rod into a super textured and crackled wood half round.

All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.

I am a long time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Starting 2022 - Transpac giftware co. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.

ARTWORK:

All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.

SHIPPING:

Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
