DESCRIPTION:

What's Christmas without a puppy as a family gift?! This piece features two snow people, a bottle brush tree that I trimmed with antique glass Christmas beads, vintage unique tinsel and a hand made topper. Check out the pup in the box! The base is hand cut wood with a fun black and white ribbon trim like a rug runner. 

Measurements are 6.5 inches long by 2.25 wide (wood base) and tree height 6.5 inches. The snowmen are approx 2 inches tall.

All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.

ARTIST:

I am a long time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.

ARTWORK:

All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.

SHIPPING:

Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
