DESCRIPTION:
Santa is ready for bed in his striped long john pj's and cuddle bug snowman! This 8 inch tall jolly soul has a unique beard with flattering mustache. The long johns are striped (why do I torture myself ;) ) and white pearlized buttons. He even has a trap door. I added a red cotton ruffled collar to match his hat and boots. The wood hand cut base simply reads "and to all a good night".

All artwork is original hand painted with layers of paint sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay and its processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.

I am a long time artist of over 25 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
