Diorama number 9 in limited series ZOLTAR with wheel of fortune spinner wacky character

DESCRIPTION:

This is number 8 in the limited series of folk art dioramas. 

Step right up and have Zoltar give you a free spin on the Wheel of Fortunes board! I used to love going to the beach and boardwalk in Santa Cruz just to see these types of things. This memory got me thinking... why not make a Zoltar folk art diorama! The game has a handmade spinner that really spins!  The little sayings are a hoot. The Wheel of Fortunes is a print decoupaged along with a swirl background. I added two little poles, a path to the wheel and of course Zolar himself! Zoltar wears that golden wrap on his head with a clay sculpted feather with a vintage bead with sparkle. The base has some german dresden trim.  

This diorama stands 5.5 inches tall and 4.5 inches across. Two inches deep. Frame handmade from wood.

ARTIST:

I am a long time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.

ARTWORK:

All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.

SHIPPING:

Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
