Chicken and house acrylic painting 8 x 10 original art

DESCRIPTION:

Very folk art in style! This is an original acrylic painting that is 8 x 10 inches. Features a big black chicken in the foreground and an old house in the background. This was sealed with a top quality satin varnish. The back is signed. This is not framed however its easy to do so yourself or place in a table easel.

All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one-of-a-kind pieces.

ARTIST:

I am a long-time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one-of-a-kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.

ARTWORK:

All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.

SHIPPING:

Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
