DESCRIPTION:
Crazy character made just like all my other past pieces only this one is covered in a coating of glorious beeswax! This red nosed clown like character stands 7.5 inches tall. He wears a cotton felt hand sewn collar that has subtle red paint spots and then was painted in beeswax. His legs are cotton wrapped and his hat has some cotton trim, all with beeswax. Check out his body with those super color spiral designs! Best of all... the nose.
These beeswax characters don't require any fussiness except to keep them out of direct (over 200 degrees) heat - sun. You can buff him up from time to time with a soft flannel like swatch.

I am a long time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.
ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
