DESCRIPTION:
Halloween folk art spooky black cat! Read entire description as there is a lot of fun features! This spooky feline has two button eyes, "torn" eye patches, a long stitch style mouth, whiskers and painted bones. The legs are all striped and the wood base has Halloween ribbon added. Around his creepy little neck is a tiny pumpkin attached with a knotted cotton string. The surface of this cat is GRITTY. I love that the grit makes him just a bit more spooky. Black cat measures at 5 inches tall from base to tip of tail and 4 inches long.

All artwork is original hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay and its processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one-of-a-kind pieces.

ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
