DESCRIPTION:
Spring folk art snowman wearing cute overalls! Today treasure that he found is a mushroom! This is part of a series called "Finders Keepers", woodland characters. This sweet snowman stands 6.25 inches tall. He's got a pair of stitch like overalls and matching cap. The scarf is textured. On his overalls are a few "patches". He stands on a solid mound of clay for a base.

All artwork is original hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay and its processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.

ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top gesso, top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.

Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
