DESCRIPTION:
NEW cotton spun! These are vintage inspired and built with layers and layers of 100% cotton. I use old school technique mixed with modern.
Full bodied NEW cotton spun wonderful Easter bunny rabbit. This one is a bit different from the others I made...this one is very puffy and soft with gorgeous colors (reminds me of beatrice potter). She stands 6 inches tall. In one hand is an Easter basket with tiny eggs and a sprinkling of soft shaved glass (like the base). Also added was some German dresden. This one took a lot longer to make with trying to keep that amazing puffy style.

All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.

I am a long time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Starting 2022 - Transpac giftware co. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.
ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
