DESCRIPTION:
NEW cotton spun! These are vintage inspired and built with layers and layers of 100% cotton. I use old school technique mixed with modern.
Halloween cotton spun skeleton ghoul character with a black suit with painted bones. He stands 4 inches tall and carries a cotton spun pumpkin bucket vintage style. I added some German dresden to the base along with soft shaved glass flakes. Group photo for those interested in seeing them together. This little pumpkin bucket sits freely on his hand.

All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.

I am a long time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Starting 2022 - Transpac giftware co. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.
ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
