DESCRIPTION:
A part of the party parakeet pieces just finished. This parakeet sits on a real wood perch. The piece measures 6 inches tall. She's painted in lime, yellow-green, white and touches of pink. There is a dark undertone with dry brush over the top. The base is wood and the stick that leads up to the perch has natural cotton twisted up the pole. This listing is for the perched bird only. Last photo is so you can see how cute these are all together.

All artwork is original hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay and its processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.

ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
