New COTTON SPUN character! Sweet Santa that stands 5.5 inches tall. He's rather petite. Traditional colors of red, green and black. In one hand is an old bell. GREAT price!
These cotton spun pieces start off with a sketch. I then build an armature and start adding layers and layers of 100% cotton batting. Once the batting is all added I seal with even more protection. I use acrylics, stain and sometimes wood for a base.

All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.

ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
