DESCRIPTION:
Linen on wood acrylic folk art dog painting - wall decor. This piece measures 10 inches tall by 6 inches across and is .25 inches thick. These folk art characters are first sketched onto paper then sketched onto wood. Using a scroll saw I cut out the design then add gorgeous linen to the top of the wood. Again, I sketch out design and paint with acrylics. Each one has paint, charcoal and is sealed with a fixative.
Back has wall hanger in place and is ready for display!

I am a long time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.
ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
