DESCRIPTION:
Might be one of my favorites! This tall and skinny with big head snowman stands almost 8 inches tall. He's got a short and fat top hat with trim to match his textured scarf. I added a candy cane with ribbon to his hand and a sculpted sprig of holly to his hat. There is a dark undertone of color to this piece. Super outstanding in person. He's got a real metal zipper mouth and vintage button eye. The base is one I used to make years ago. I made another batch and it works perfectly as it resembled swirling snow.

All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.

I am a long time artist of over 25 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Starting 2022 - Transpac giftware co. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.
ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
