DESCRIPTION:
Super fun dark art that has a carnival style feel. This listing you get BOTH pieces! The bear sculpt measures 6 inches tall by 5 wide. The bear head is a nice large size. He was done using an armature, paper clay, watercolor washes, acrylics, beeswax and a touch of stain. The base is wood and painted with distressed white and red polka dots. The painting is 5 x 5. I handcrafted his painted by adding wood slates for interest. The bear painting has slight texture and was done using acrylics, beeswax and stain. There is a hook in the back if you want to hang it.

I am a long time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.
ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
