DESCRIPTION:
Definity unique! This 8 inch tall piece I made came from a sketch I did a while back. I wanted to make a puppet style mouth character with a little bit of "humor". We go about life saying what we need to say to get by but most of us have a hidden voice. My little hidden voice is the skelly skeleton sitting on a birch log. He is funny, a little bit dark but always with love. The puppet mouth guy has swirl eyes with a white fine crackle finish. The loops on his jacket and shoes match. The base is wood with a slight white wash. Check out the hands!

All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.

I am a long time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.
ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
