DESCRIPTION:
Ready to hang and display! This is a 12 x 9 inch mixed media wall piece. The process was time consuming but super fun! This was made using a sketch transfer onto wood panel board then I added paper clay like puzzle pieces. After a few days of drying I sanded, primed and painted. The effect is really cool! In the scene are some fishes, some seaweed, other plant life, coral, sand and a shell. This was given a very light coat of satin to protect finish.

I am a long time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.
ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
