DESCRIPTION:
Christmas folk art creepy Santa Claus! This goes great with a creepy snowman. This cute yet sinister fellow stands 6.5 inches tall. He's got spiked glossy teeth, glossy eyes, a wisp of hair falling out of this Santa hat and textured hair. He was painted in three tones of gorgeous brown paint. I believe this is the first Santa I painted in this color. Check out the striped wire legs coated in a sealer, chunky shoes and silly stance. The base is hand cut wood.

All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.

I am a long time artist of over 20 years in the same medium of clay art. My background includes thousands of these characters all unique and one of a kind pieces. Past successful reproduction line with companies Enesco and Dept 56. Holiday shows from 2003 - current.
ARTWORK:
All artwork is original, signed and dated. Each character starts off as a sketch. I then build an armature and then the sculpting begins. Once ready for paint, I apply top grade acrylics, stain and a light coating of wax.
SHIPPING:
Each piece is carefully wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Shipping same or next day priority mail or when direct pay clears. Depending on how you purchase.
